The software editor is supposedly going to be able to be used as a plugin soon for the MoPho and Evolver...so, maybe for this one as well. USB works for that no? (or no?)

The other guy in the pick is Stephen Fortner, the editor of keyboard magazine. The twitter is still on his twitter profile, but the pic was taken down. I very much doubt this was an illicit leak. For one, why would Dave and Stephen both pose for a pic with a new product they didnt want anyone to know about? Answer is, they wouldnt. The only reason they would post it and then take it down is to get people talking, not because they dont want anyone knowing about it.

If you dont want a product to leak then you certainly dont pose for photos with it with anyone.

The whole phot removal approach is probably just something to stir up publicity for it. However at this point it may not be real.

What I would find odd now that I've thought about it would be the fact that another product may be released before any definate news of boomchik/linndrum 2 has even hit. Which is quite odd considering they both keep saying it's gonna happen.

i would much rather this than a linndrumm II, i loved the sound of the mopho and a poly mopho would be killer to add to my rig. absolutely killer unison bass !

Also I wonder if this might have some relation to the analogue side of the LDII.

I thought the prophet 08 was a poly mopho. Not that Im against this product, it just seems odd that the linndrum 2 hasn't progressed much further than a concept in the past couple of years.
