Moog DSC Digital Sequential Controller ?

Someone posted a link in the 80's synth ad thread to someone's blog with other old synth ads and I saw this:

Looks like the same color sceme as The Source. Did this ever get made? I did a quick search on Yahoo and Google and did not find anything. A little bit of info here:

After posting the ad on my blog, I've had a few people ask for more information on the DSC - but no one has offered any new information yet.

I've sent questions to a few friends and am scanning some more old mags to see what turns up. Will see... :(

Curious, what was the story behind the Sonproducer and the DSC?
I know the software is a little buggy on that Songproducer Ver1.6.
Nice combo with the CommodoreSX-64.

The manual that shipped with the Songproducer was very interesting. The order/price list had some strange Moog items. My guess Songproducer was around 1984, while the DSC was 1979/80.
Another mystery, on the Songproducer box was a check mark space for "Analog Synthesizer Module"? Perhaps for the Commodore 64.
