Korg MicroKorg latch function?

hey!
can any microkorg user tell me if this synth has the latch function, i'd go and try one myself, but they don't have it in stores near me. info welcome. take care.

Do you mean a hold function, where you activate it and it sustains all notes held down?

yes hold micron has it as latch, it holds last note(s) pressed

Oh in that case, I don't think so. There's a latch for the arpeggiator, but not for individual notes.

Nope. I usually just set a single not arpeggio with a long attack and release on the note. Not the best really, but can be interesting if you route the mod wheel to the length of attack and release.

Yes, go into arp pattern, select 'trg', set note length to 100, light all steps, turn the latch on.

Or just press a key down then stick a coin over it and under the two on either side. Or grab the lead and pull it round to the front and jam it under the key. There are a million ways to do this, you don't need a latch function for a single key.

Oh Stabby, you crazy bastard. Would probably be easier to use the latch on the mK, as I could see a going easily breaking those funny little keys.
