Re: Christmas wish list 2009
My list:
1. Being able to play.
2. Having the time to play. I guess that would translate into gobs of money so I can quit working.
But for gear Santa.. how about a CS80... Jupiter-8... TR-808... Fairlight... Pro-One, Minimoog D, maybe a nice upright piano too? Oh yeah, and a bigger house to fit all this stuff in!
That would be great to find under the tree on Christmas morning!

Two VCO: thanks to the push rods, one can choose several forms of waves at the same time!

Reasonable:
Novation LaunchPad
Nord Micro Modular
E-mu Command Station
MFB Synth Lite (can you tell I want to build a compact live rig?)
A little farther off
:
Future Retro XS + Sherman Filterbank 2 Rack
Eurorack Modular
A6
Nord Electro [2]
Non synth gear (regardless of feasibility):
New drum heads
Shure SM7 and Beta 52
Beez Neez Jade
Golden Age Project Pre-73 x4 or a Seventh Circle Audio 4 to 8 channel rack with their API and Neve clones
HandCrafted Labs Solution S2
EMT 140 Plate
Zildjian A cymbal set
TZF Paradox Flanger
MXR EVH Phase 90 to replace my wonky non-EVH one
A really nice 2 channel medium-high gain tube guitar combo, maybe Soldano or Egnater

Money, Santa would probably just buy me a Triton or something.
What I really want are a new Mini and finally my Andromeda!

Re: Christmas wish list 2009
well, realistically santa (in this case me) will bring me a new I7 mahcine w 6Gb etc.. its really way past time for updating my DAW. cant run any of the cpu-thick recent plugins..
however, if i could choose anything, and there was really a Santa..
to release my ambient album, and go to some relevant space music/ambi festivals to play..
macbeth x-module, back end filter and dual oscillator (hopefully ill get this next spring)
midas venice or APB prodesk4 32ch console
oberheim xpander
hmm.. an M3 version instead of my regular 325 coupe..blue with beige leather seats.. mmmmmmmmmm
i think that covers it.
