It's not sexy or even really discussed here, but I'd like one of these so that I can sell off a bunch of my other stuff (and maybe start gigging again):

Oh I'd love a PC361 too, for studio bread and butter and the VA-1. Not a realistic wish for me at the moment though.

TIME

I need only time and being less work stressed than I am. Still i feel lucky to have a job in these day...

But Santa Claus can't give time it to me... so I hope in a Matrix6R or a Roland MKS70 can't decide... probably nothing.

I would just like a Korg Lambda.

There's a ton of stuff I'd like but will realistically never get. Jupiter-8, CS-80 etc. Can't help feeling that to own some of that stuff would be to take away some of the mystique.

Realistically, I just need to satisfactorily piece together this setup: Virus TI, JV-1080, MPC1000. Cables and such. Already have the most of it [and what's missing is in the works..].

Cheap stocking filler would be a book or two on the history of analog synthesis or a Moog bio. Maybe a couple sample CD's to refresh the MPC's palette. Come to think of it, a solid state 128Gb drive to chuff the MPC full of samples might be nice, as would a bigger CF card. Digging around the old rack hardware sales aswell - maybe a few SR-JV cards or even another multitimbral sample unit.. along the lines of the old EMU stuff [vintage, mo'phatt, orchestral etc...]

I'm not a big Christmas gifter - I buy what I want when I can afford it, without waiting for an occasion. So for me, Christmas this year will be about spending the day with wife and child.

Mellotron. :-?

With 8-Voice Choir, String Section and Chamberlin Flute tapes. Yes, I have actually given it thought.

I'll just have to live with a bunch of samples, most likely.

The idea of xmas gifts loses a lot of interest when one becomes an adult and more or less is buying a gift for themselves. I’ve been downsizing really but I hope to get myself one of these with some of the money:

Image

I’m getting into DIY stuff and will probably buy a MFOS WSG PCB and build that in preparation for eventually building a MFOS Sound Lab Ultimate. After getting (hopefully soon) and building the sammich sid, I think I will build another simple Midibox sid since I have a 6581 and a Nuxx PCB.

Also buying some snowboarding gear for my wife and I from music gear sales.

Now that we have kids I am excited for them to be excited about xmas more than anything.
hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again

Actually I would rather have a new job for Christmas. Then I would be able to make my previous list happen.

Waves Mercury bundle..........I'd settle for diamond, platinum or even gold. I cant justify spending money on plug-ins but I do want them.

Idealy, a Prophet 5. But that won't happen, so I'll probably have to buy one and put it under the tree for myself.

I'll probably (and hopefully) get the Monty Python Flying Circus Boxset I've been wanting for the last decade!
