Here's one more positive vote for the Europa. The upgrade extends MIDI far beyond the original. The ability to flawlessly sync to midi (even send its own midi clock of you're into that), is great.

As for the software you're talking about, I don't know that you'd ever need it. I doubt they'll ever release another upgrade beyond 2.0, so there won't be a need to update the OS. It's hard to imagine what else they would add.

My only gripe is that you can't sync either LFO to an external midi clock. They explain why that isn't possible, but it would be really nice.

I sent my JP6 main board in. Got it back quickly and everything worked perfectly.
