Haha Snow camo!
I want to see it in that 20th century, digital-army, Digital-Urban camo!
It would go great with my Digital-Camo mousepad and Front-Row remote

But seriously.
In all seriousness.
What are Korg thinking?
They totally abandoned the "synthesizer" market and are focusing on the color-schemes instead of the insides..
What the h**l is that!?

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
Just saw this come over.
http://www.mellotron.com/digital-mellotron.html
Looks interesting. Will cost a lot though, when I think a dedicated rompler like that should be less than a $1000. There's probably tons of empty space inside there. It would be cool if they made a desktop Mellotron with the upper and lower LCD's and such on it with basic outputs for $500. I'd buy that.

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
Korg has launched some pretty innovative and surprising products over the past few years. Kaossilator, Microsampler, DS-10 come to mind. Those may not be your cup of tea but shouldn't Korg at least get credit for thinking outside the box? Yes, they changed color schemes on a few of their products. So what?hageir wrote:In all seriousness.

i <3 korg, but they deserve being teased for c**p like that.
also EHX has put out so many awesome new pedals in the past year, wondering if they'll be there w/ something... like a remake of the stereo polychorus, since they haven't done that one yet.

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
hey to each their own. I was listening more for the potential of what the new features could do rather than the sounds they were playing themselves

Sounds very digital from the demo, still interesting.Joey wrote:http://www.virus.info/page/render/lang/ ... izers.html

Noticed in the specs that under "Environmental requirements", that other than normal common sense cautions, it suggests the it's "Maximum altitude: 10,000 feet". Huh? Does that mean you can't take it say, to the Space station? Or fly to 11,000 feet?

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
Of course it is - I was hoping that it would sound more like an analogue synth.Joey wrote:of course it sounds digital, its a digital synth

Re: Winter NAMM 2010
how about just using one of the analogue synths you have if you want analog sounds?
these features are clearly not for analogue emulation.
