The new Prophet 16 will be more versatile and easy to use than its' predecessors. For instance if you want a tuba sound, you just push the comfortably large yellow button labelled 'Tuba'. It also features a new built-in rhythm unit employing the same revolutionary design. Gone are the complicated and time consuming drum step sequencers of the previous decades and with the push of a single button you'll be able to produce mesmerizing and instantly usable popular rhythms such as 'March' and 'Rhumba'.

I'm drooling already.

It´s the 25 years anniversary of the Prophet 2000! we will see a new 12 bit sampler with more memory than the original and dedicated controls on the panel. It´s name is Prophet 2010.

The second is a Prophet 08 with 76 wooden keys and poly aftertouch - simply a new Prophet T8.

;)

Dave Bryce used to leak us secrets, but I guess he lost the point when everybody just complained like an ungrateful c**t anyways.

Word. Well, not much longer to wait now...... but so much longer to wait. Maybe it's a Prophet VS 10 with 10 of the digital voices from the evolver.

I sure hope it's an "octa" if that's the case.

A Tetra KPE would be perfect for me. (Keyboard Pot Edition)
49 or 61 keys, real potentiometers.
4 voices will be fine, to keep the price down.

EDIT: I'll take that one step further. Put a Tetra board inside a keyboard that essentially resembles the old Prophet 5. Direct access to all the main parameters via real potentiometers, plus a few choice modulation routings in the Polymod section. Then a small LCD screen with a couple of encoders to access all the other parameters and routing - or just use software for that extra c**p. :D

If they were going to do that wouldn't it just be smarter to re-release the P'08 with the additional function the tetr4 can do. It would make the P'08 obsolete. You could always buy 2 tetras?

Yes, they could drop the Prophet name and people would finally stop whining about it not sounding like a Prophet-5.
