MFB Nanozwerg, Urzwerg, Microzwerg & Megazwerg

so are these things supposed to be any good?

I've owned a couple of MFB synths over the years.

I bought MeatballFulton's Kraftzwerg a few weeks ago. Quite pleased overall. Build quality is sturdy, but not confident it would be durable enough for extensive touring.

All of these MFB synths look like alot of fun. The multimode in the Nano and Micro sounds pretty good in the demos. The flexibility and tone quality of the Micro makes it tempting for me to consider getting one, as it sounds different than the Kraft. I wouldn't consider the Mega as an expander for my Kraft, because most of its features I don't want, and I already have a Moog CP-251, also bought from Meatballfulton.

AH still doesn't have the nano, micro & mega, did those ever become available?

I think they're available from MFB directly. There's a few videos on Youtube of the nano and micro. Dunno about the mega though.

I ordered my mfb-503 and two nanozwergs directly from MFB. Worked great.
Manfred Fricke seems like a great guy.

Any impressions of the Nanozwerg? How phat is it as a bass and Lead synth? I'm looking for something that really cuts through a mix.

So I am still looking at an MFB and will most likely go with the micro , but I have looked at the nanozwerg too and have been curious .... The sub osc has settings for 1/2 1/4 and mix which according to the vague manual is 1/2+1/4+5/8 But what ? Tuning , pulse with ? I have to assume it's not volume mix as there is a knob for that but if it were oct offset it .... Well idk any owners shed some light ? Thanks .

While many of these small synth companies often write less-than comprehensive manuals, in this case the manual describes it better than I ever could hope to:

The sub oscillator generates a rectangle-wave one or two octaves below the VCO’s tuning. Use Sub OSC to toggle between the settings 1/2, 1/4 or Mix. With Mix selected, 1/2, 1/4 and an additional 5/8 will sound simultaneously.
