Yeah it was pretty amusing. I like "Seattle sensitive alternative warble"

Re: Happy 1st April from Moog
Do the vocals on your favorite song sound like a vocoded chipmunk? Yes(?). Did you use extreme auto-tune settings in the sensitive ballad you wrote for your girlfriend, who then dumped you because, as Jay Z said, "Auto-tune is Dead". Never fear, you can now recapture the emotive intensity of your original vocal performance complete with the off-kilter, yet somewhat charming intonation for which you are known.

I'm going to be the first asshole and say that perhaps the Moog synths currently in production could benefit from this type of a circuit.

For anyone who doesn't know what the "Mrs. Miller" setting refers to, she was an older lady who had a brief career in the 60's singing out of tune versions of current hit songs. Here is one of many postings of her on YouTube:
Prophet 5 rev.2, Pro-One, Juno 60, Jupiter 6, Matrix 12, OB8, MS20, Poly 800, CS70M, DX-7, CP35, Casio PX-5S, Hammond C3/M102, Vox Continental/Super Continental, Gibson G101, Farfisa Compact, RMI 300A, Pianet N, Combo Pianet, S770, S760, S50, NS3C

It's damned shame they didn't include a David Liebe Hart setting.

Thanks for the info, that was hilarious.V301H wrote:For anyone who doesn't know what the "Mrs. Miller" setting refers to, she was an older lady who had a brief career in the 60's singing out of tune versions of current hit songs. Here is one of many postings of her on YouTube:
Moog's April fool's bogus products have not always been that offbeat. In fact the 2007 or 2008 idea was something like a CV controlled radio tuner, an idea I had been considering. Weird, but quite feasible.
