DX-7, TX-7, and accessories, $200. The DX-7 might need about $100 in repairs though, unless I do it myself.

Nearly ended up with a free TR-707 but I missed out on it because I'm an idiot.

Just got a pretty decent shape polysix for $125 last night. It looks like a new battery was installed (this one's white, and all others I've seen are blue), and some of the traces look corroded but everything works perfectly. As well as the dirty key contacts. Which is easy to fix. I have yet to test the continuity of the traces or see what the extent of the damage is on the surrounding components.

Anyway, I was pleasently surprised to see how well it worked. I was buying it for parts! :)

Yep, it's a Micromoog. I got it from posting on CL. The deals are still out there! Few and far between, but they're there.

The title is "best synth buys you've made" not the "best deals you've gotten."

My best synth buys were the Pro One and the Andromeda. s**t, the Pro One's sound, to ME is worth twice as much!

YMMV, of course.
