AIR - Missing the Light synths
Who can name all the synths in this AIR video? I know what some of them are, but not all of them. Bonus points for naming the mics too.
I assume that the synth beneath the foreground MOOG is being used to drive a vocoder along with the silver mic?

Re: AIR - Missing the Light synths
Synths = I recognize the obvious ones: MS-20, Moog Sources, some sort of wirly. Other then that, I got nothing...
Mics = Shure SM7B's and a Sennheiser 441.
And those headphones look like Sony MDR-7506's

that's pretty sick. totally would've guessed most of their music was sequenced.

I think the Roland VP 550 is spotted......

Yep...
One Wurlitzer 200a, with a Moog Source on top, a Solina String Ensemble with the Korg MS-20 on top for Jean-Benoît Dunckel.
And a Roland VP-550 an the Moog Source for Nicolas Godin.
Very cool version of Missing The Light

It is much easier to be a good equipment purchaser than to be a great musician.

Graet perormance. Thanks for the link EmptySet!
From the sound I'm guessing there's a Monotron under the Solina.
Looks like they practiced their Hanon every day

I love the MS-20 solo and I just noticed the drummer playing a synth as well!

Golly, I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. So that's where the other sound is coming from!gearfixer wrote:I love the MS-20 solo and I just noticed the drummer playing a synth as well!

Or a Memotron as a monotron would get squashed under a Solina...madtheory wrote: From the sound I'm guessing there's a Monotron under the Solina.
