 What's with the aggression??

I'm bringing it up in that context because I like to take my VL 1 with me when I go places because of its portability. The OP-1 looks to be the same size, so I am simply saying that I wouldn't mind having one of those for its portability.
bonne chance

The synth's price is out of my range indeed.

They sacrificed MIDI in the name of portability. Is a shame but MIDI is a must to me due to the way I work. For other persons is OK, but I would never pay for it due to that issue.
Yeah I was more impressed with the oscilloscope stuff, some good sounds were hidden in that video. I had a listen to the preview album they released but I wasn't sure whether it was just the sound of the OP-1, So I didn't want to take that as a true demo.

As for MIDI, Ive read somewhere that wireless MIDI, or something that allows you to do so, will be included... I think it would be strange to not include some means of USB MIDI or wireless MIDI in something so sequencer heavy.

it's pretty obvious that the design/form factor/name of the op-1 is related to casios such as the vl-1, so bringing one of those up makes perfect sense.. especially for those with a penchant for them and is excited for a much more powerful 'synth' in the same form sitting next to their dearly beloveds.

+ mellow out.

Saw a couple of them standing on a table in Stockholm last week. Apparently they want to make sure that the functionality is up to pretty high standards before release and make sure most bugs are ironed out.

Hope that is true, it'd be nice to see a company that releases a finished product these days lol...

In the meantime, did anyone get into the beta test group? I was declined.. The funny thing is the reason they said it was declined was exactly what I said in my application.. In other words I was declined so that instead they could give one to someone just like me. :P

I talked with Jesper about it after Messe, but decided not to do beta-testing. I don't have time for it really, I rather wait a few months and buy one of the second batch or maybe the third depending on how well they sell.

Well, the price (799€...even if it's a bit retarded with 799USD) seems decent enough, I thought it would be about 1000€.
Already sold out?
