Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!
Now that my e-mail is sent off, ensuring I beat the rest of you bastards, those of you who are interested (a fair number, judging by my P3 sale-a-thon) will probably want to go here:

I voted for silver, but we got outvoted. Past the pretty pictures is the pre-order e-mail address. Make sure to include the proper information. And no, there is no final price yet. Also, the CV/gate interface details are still being worked out.

It would be nice to know the price with the CV options
Finally managed to the site to launch so under £1000... but not under £500

I wonder if that USB-MIDI is also MIDI IN. It would be so nice to use the c-thru axis 49 controller without a computer!
Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!
I don't think I'll be able to resist the temptation past the end of today....

It probably has both midi in and out over USB, but that' doesn't mean that you'll be able to use an axis with it. The Cirklon and Axis are both slave devices, they need to be plugged into a master device (ie a computer) to work. That's why USB leads have different shaped plugs on either end.schmidtc wrote:I wonder if that USB-MIDI is also MIDI IN. It would be so nice to use the c-thru axis 49 controller without a computer!

I put my name on the list, but not sure I'll end up getting one. Think finding an FR sequencer might be better, or even an MC 4B

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!
I just want it to work like a 909 sequencer with extras.....

Quick update for those of you wondering about the price: The configuration of the CV outputs are what is holding up a final number. It should be decided soon.

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!
it looks marvelous.
i sincerely hope its CV implementation will be substantial. not just an after-thought.
i don't really sequence midi gear when i perform anymore. only analog CV gear via Kenton Pro2000mk2 midi-cv converter, which is bloody innacurate and late soon as you have more than one track going. MIDI is just c**p for fast, punchy sequences.
i wanna go either a digital CV sequencer (without the midi conversion), or use Silent Way plugin suite, for DC audio sequencing on laptop. and i'd rather NOT take a laptop live if i can help it.

Judging from all the talk about CV/Gate going on in the Yahoo group, I doubt that it will be an after-thought. I've been impressed by just how much effort they seem to be putting into getting the Cirklon just right...clusterchord wrote:it looks marvelous.
