Not "ugly" in my books, but I can understand why some think so. And wow, that one's in great condition!

I've seen 3 of these Moogs come and go in my local shop. If it were cheaper, I'd want it.

Did they paid somebody to make the ugliest synth ever? It looks like a keyboard arranger or a plastic toy.

It seems they felt inspired by the dash of the hyundai Elantra.....

control panel the left side seems like the air conditioning system....
I felt much the same when I fisrt saw Pictures of the Fusion... But in the flesh, it's actually quite nice.

I'm voting for the origin keyboard:

even uglier than the radias

Is it really as "ergonomic" to use as the description insists? The controls are placed too far away from the keyboard, so I think it could be terrible to use while sitting. That's why I don't like stacking racks behind a midi controller either.

Lots of mentions to the Yamaha YS200 in this thread.
What about the module version:

I know i'm a couple years late to the party here, but i'm not letting this thread off without mentioning this lemon:

The open labs miko Timbaland edition. what an expensive, bulky, ugly, impractical piece of c**p! it's like the escalade of synthesizers.

actually no, it's much more like this:

Have to disagree with Radias and TQ5 being ugly.

Among the top-tier polys and based on looks, OB-X is the ugly duckling. Plain looking panel, fake wood sides at their worst. The saving grace is the "Oberheim" back panel that carried over to a few OB-Xas.

Crumar Stratus and Trilogy then proceeded to rip the OB-X's design off. I prefer the Banana Poly Synth that rips off the OB-Xa's design.

Don't know what ARP was thinking when they had the hanging keyboards. Those ruined the otherwise badass looking black/orange scheme that the Roland Jupiter-8 ripped off / refined.

I'm surprised this gem wasnt mentioned..

It's actually a Rompler with analog filter, but what the h**l.
I own one and the biggest complaint I have is you can't stand it up on end when it's not in use/being stored away due to those uber cool wedge ends
