It'd be nice to see the EML-101 and I'd like to see the SH-5 again, if you still have it.
Arp 2600?
Do you have a JP8?

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

I'm definately bringing my Synthex. But I'd rather not haul more than 3 synths from home. If you could choose one or 2 from that list, what would they be?

I still have some gear still at my shop: PPG EVU, OB-Mx, 2 Taurus pedals (one is for sale) and other rack synths hardly worth mentioning.

So out of anyone thats coming - I'm just wondering if theres anything I have that I should bring to this meet this weekend? I've never been to a synth meet, and don't know that much on what to expect - but I'd be open to bringing just about anything I have if I have something that others are interested in playing around with/checking out....

I had thought about bringing a dave smith set up of the P08, MEK and Mopho in case people wanted to check out the 3 together/versus each other. Is that silly? I figured I might as well just ask here since some of you are attending!

I'm bringing Elka Synthex to add to following items already at my shop: OB-Mx, PPG EVU, Moog Taurus 1 and FIZMO (you're still buying it, right?)

Solderman is bringing his modded 101 & 606 and maybe his newly aquired Kraftzwerg.

Garranimal is bringing his A6 and the VP-330 Choir clone circuit (using my Juno 106 as signal source)

Ripe909 says he's bringing 303 related stuff.

I'd be cool if you brought the DSI stuff.

There's over 40 people that have RSVP'd on my Facebook page, but only one other person has stated he's bringing anything.

Should be fun! See y'all Sunday!

Yes! Definitely picking up the Fizmo! I am very excited about that.

I'm bringing a few things I've got up for sale to see if anyone is interested, but those'll just hang out where ever. I'll bring a stand and set up a little corner for the DSI stuff, who knows, maybe someone will be curious to listen to them. I'm also bringing two string machines that garran has said he'll attempt to fix if possible, so if those two work - they might be fun to play with as well.

I am very excited about it!

OH - I forgot, would anyone be interested in the Indigo 2? Its probably a bit more rare than most of the items I have...so if anyone is curious about it or would want to play around with it, I can definitely bring it too...

Here's a link to my Photobuck of the photos I took. I did shoot some video, but don't expect me to have it edited any time soon. ILoveAnalog blog was there with his Aurtia Origin and also shot some video. I'm sure he'll have video on his blog soon.

Seems like everybody had a good time, and a very good variety of gear was on display. My only regret now is that I'm left with residual GAS, especially for syncing up two TR606's!
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

Pics from the synth meet...

I have to say I had a lot of fun, and it was a great afternoon. Thanks so much to Z for putting this thing together and hosting all of us. Hopefully we can have another sometime soon! I just need to save up again before we do...I walked away with a Fizmo, SY55 and a choir filter clone!

Mr. Garranimal made them, and they are quite nice. I am working on a test recording of strings, vocoder and drum machine thru the voice filter as we speak to show it off a little since he was nice enough to build and sell one to me.

I thought the triple chorus sounded pretty close to the Solina ensemble effect, except at a slower rate. Juno 106 as a source naturally wasn't quite as smooth.
