1-30 Where could be this pad from? I need tha exact answer, I hear some fairlight along the song also

It has always sounded like a Jupiter 8 to me, but I don't think AON used one. I remember reading an article in Keybooard magazine 20+ years ago and seeing 2x Fairlight, PPG Wave 2 and (I think) a MemoryMoog in a photo.

I know they used the Fairlight quite extensively on the Into Battle With The Art of Noise EP, so I would have to assume they were using the same one when recording Who's Afraid.

God what a CLASSIC song though. so amazing.

In the "Visible Silence" live video, Anne Dudley uses a MemoryMoog for the pad sound (alongside a PPG, Fairlight CMI and grand piano). It sounds very much like the pad of the studio version.
