For what I'm going to play:
Most compact, would be just the KO Pro + the Monotron + a Shure Beta 58a microphone (without sub mixer, all feed into the KO Pro Mic and line input)

Ideal, would be the above, plus: a Bitrman + X-station driving the Technosaurus Microcon 2 + SH-101 + Ibanez LF7 Lo-fi pedal + Mini mixer with built-in fx.

when everything was packed because i was moving, i only had a dr-110 and a kp3 at my disposal. it actualy turned out very nice to have that limited power.

I took a dr-110 and mini-KP on a plane with me, very fun combo. I used to also jam those + a circuit bent casio sk-1.

That's right, off course. I had a setup for rock/indie in mind...
Good programming is worth more than the most expensive synthesizer.

I'm only 12 minutes into it right now, but that's actually some insane stuff. The drummer(s) are really f**k good. Nice lead work as well actually. :)

EDIT: 20 minute mark there's a dubstep wobble, bash him. :x
thanks man!

LOL @ 'wobble'....but it's a Model D doing it!!! - i repent!

btw that was just the first gig; 90% improv. We have another this week....can't wait to get some tighter/arranged sections together@ the "writing" session tonight!
