I dunno I don't mind the Biyang pedals, they're nicely priced and don't have an atrocious noise floor like the B company.

For me Tempest is the winner, followed by Kronos then the new Kaoss - everything else is pretty much meh...

Although the M-Audio venom will be good for people wanting a first synth to muck around with, nice for the price.

Nothing new from Yamaha I take it, very quiet so far.

...and Roland, what can I say

I heard it was the V-Castanet: a tactile, mains-or-battery castanet with VRM virtual modeling technology and a small inbuilt speaker as well as TRS stereo outs. USB interface should allow you to download all-new Castanet sounds, and share them with V-Castanet users all over the world!

It marks the start of a whole new line for Roland, with the V-Triangle, V-Tambourine and V-Timbale being promised before Musikmesse 2011.

Indeed. Metasonix seems to be getting classier all the time.

Holy s**t, Akai's rebadging Biyang pedals (AKA the cheapest pedals ever made) as "Akai Custom Shop"!
Ha, you beat me to it. I just noticed that too.

For comparison:

And then take a look at this:

If these aren't Biyang pedals, find me a lightly salted hat.

I mean, they're OK, some of them. But not amazing, even for sweatshop money. Actually the delay is probably the best one.

Oh yeah, they're alright, I've got the delay. (It's not analogue by the way). The thing I thought was funny was that Akai were calling them 'Custom Shop' when they should really be calling them 'Sweat Shop'. :D

Either that, or Akai is using the same dictionary as Fender: Custom Shop=new paint job and more $$$$.

I would like to know more about the metasonix icunt. I've done some searching and all I can find is pictures. Does it actually do anything or does is it just make your ipod sound its stuck in the garbage disposal?
My modular so far: Q104, Q106, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M (x2 STEREO!)
