Anyone tried iControlMIDI app yet?

Post by wjmwpg » Wed Apr 13, 2011 9:20 pm

Just curious if anyone's given this a whirl yet? Looks like it currently supports around 12-15 synth options, which will probably expand with time.
Seems it will only run on an ipad for the time being, (which I don't have), but should a version become available that I could run on my MBP I'd definitely give it a whirl.

Would love to hear some real world experiences with it if anyone has any.
Cheers.

I can honestly say those look terrible. They couldn't possibly make a more ergonomically cramped, visually uninspiring, over priced app if they tried.

Looking into it a little further reveals that this was originally created for the Mackie C4(which makes a lot more sense ergonomically) and lazilly converted into iPad templates after Mackie discontinued the C4.

Check out MIDI Touch or maybe pick up a used Mackie C4, instead.

You're right! No doubt MIDI Touch looks much better - and the reviews it's getting are very positive.
