IMHO, the price is totally wack. I thought he was going to charge that for the new 4-voice. Sorry, can't go there, especially after the MiniBrute's price. 1,999 OK. Not 3,500.

Too bad, 'cause I love the original 2-voice (a friend lent me one for 18 months).

PS: Since that was the suggested price for the 4-voice a few months back, I guess the 4-voice will now go for... 5,900? 6,500?

Price is a bit high but I would probably take one over a new voyager what with the sequencer with ratcheting and midi etc... still probably wont get one though.. I would be more interested in an OB-X... 6 voices would be fine with the sem filters and poly aftertouch.

OK, but do you know that up until a very short time ago, Mr Oberheim was suggesting the exact same price for his upcoming 4-voice? Maybe that's not important to you, fair enough, but to me, it's a bit weird.

Well it's way beyond my finances, but I still think it's cool.
Not sure what second-hand ones go for when they come up, but I imagine the price could be similar-ish.
Plus I assume you'd get better reliability with a new one.

It seems expensive, but it's basically a SEM Pro ($1200) and patch panel SEM ($900) with a keyboard, two-track sequencer and case added. You can see where the expense is coming from. I'd like one but for the size and cost I think there are other things I'd go for.

Are they going to sell one single unit of these? I was expecting 900 + 1000 + ~ 300 dollar = 2200 dollars TOPS. Not friggin' 3495!!!
