You own 20 Polymoogs? :shock:
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Emu Xl1 (4)
Korg ms2k (2)
Yamaha rs7k (3)
Korg kp3 (2)
Waldorf Xt (2)
I don't have any of those any more, Kind of wish some were still around,
Just picked up a Roland V-synth XT after selling my Keyboard a while back, Looking forward to playing with that.

Even trashed vintage classic synths are worth money, all because of the spare parts. I am sure serious Prophet and Memorymoog fans keep as many for spares as they can. With a synth like the Polymoog you will need spares too. I've seen people keep 2 or 3 identical models as backup synths, but this just takes the cake. You clearly love the Polymoog.

Not a synth but I bought the Korg DDD-1 twice. The second one was just becuase it had the sampling board. I still have them both. Even though I flip the ocassionabl synth I haven't flipped the same model twice yet.

* Can't resist buying 707 and 727's when I see 'em decently priced. Cue the intervention ...
* Recently bought a K3m in order to ditch the K3 board. Not convinced I really need either, though.
* Synthasound x 2. Still unsure how that happened.
* DDD-1 x 3. The cards, man. THE CARDS.
* S-612 / MD280 combo x 3. The Quick Disks, man, etc.
* Optigan x 6. Down to one again, and it's a temperamental SOB. :?

BTW, my brain's still scrambled after reading the 20 Polymoogs story. Passed on a cheap-ish one like 5 years ago (and admittedly still don't regret it) but gotta respect that level of commitment.
