Even trashed vintage classic synths are worth money, all because of the spare parts. I am sure serious Prophet and Memorymoog fans keep as many for spares as they can. With a synth like the Polymoog you will need spares too. I've seen people keep 2 or 3 identical models as backup synths, but this just takes the cake.
