For me:

Korg Prophecy x 3 (2 kept)
Roland D50 x 2 (sold)
Yamaha DX 100 x 2 (1 sold, the other to my daughter)
Moog Theremin x 2 (1 needs pitch calibration)
Yamaha QY 10 x 3 (1 sold, 1 to daughter, 1 kept)
Yamaha CS 40M (1 traded, 1 kept (for daughter))
KAOS PAD 1 x 2 (sold)

as far as I can remember.

Juno 6 & 60 if that counts (ie. 1 of each)
2 x Teisco S-100P (neither of which work entirely correctly)
2 x Korg Lambda (ditto)

I've never sold one and then missed it enough to buy another. Only my humble Boss PS-2 falls into that category.

That's exactly what happened to me. I missed them and had sellers regret. That and 2nd hand prices being too irresistible. As far as the Prophecy goes, it was a log wheel issue that encouraged me to buy another. If I could've fixed the errant one, I would've.

Including drum boxes, off the top of my head, stuff I've bought multiple times has been

SH-101 x 3 (all sold)
MC-202 x 3 (sold 2, keeping last 1 it's fully modularized)
Alpha Juno 1 x 2 (sold 2, have MKS-50)
DX7 x 2 (2 sold, one original, one DX7IIFD, now have many TXs)
Microkorg x 2 (still have one)
TR-808 x 2 (sold 2)
Univox SR55 x 2 (sold 2)
Yamaha MR10 x 2 (sold 1)
Boss DR-55 x 3 (sold all)

Of all the things I've sold the only one I would buy again (and keep) would be a Yamaha SY-1. Envelopes from heaven that old 70s Yamaha stuff. Bought it for $200 locally mint condition, dust cover, original manual. Great synth, sold it very early in my synthdom. I sold all my monos except my Octave Cat SRM when I got my first modular  Thought I wouldn't need any monos anymore :D Didn't think they were that rare at the time.

I made a bunch of money on it but now they go for $700-$900 and I'm not paying that. So yeah a SY-1, SY-2 or one of the older CS polys would be nice down the road.

I briefly had a FS1R once but sold it to buy a TKB for my Serge. Might buy one of those again but I have so much Yamaha FM around already (TX802, TX816, TX81Z)

I think the only synth I've bought more than once to keep (not to flip) would be my MemoryMoog. On a couple of occasions, I've had a pair of Roland MKS-80s in my rig, but decided to keep only one. I've also got 2 Roland Fantom X6s, one for home and one at my furniture shop. I have a second JD-800 that needs some work that I bought with the intention of using for a live project that never happened. I currently have 3 ARP Avatars that I planned to have patch point mods added to, but plan to sell them as is next year. I even had a pair of TR-909s for about a year, but sold one. I did film video footage of both 909s controlling external synths (a JD-800 and JP-6), but haven't had a chance to edit the footage.

I can't tell you how many CZ-101s, PolySixes, Juno 60s and Juno 106s I've owned over the past 20 years. At least 6 of each.

ha.. good topic...

2 x Kawai K4r (inc. one I just picked up)
3 x Kawai K1/K1r
...I seem to have a weird Kawai thing going.

2 x MC-202
2 x TR-606
2 x MKS-80/PG80

...not actually that much, but there's got to be more!

My first real synth was an an1x. I sold it and bought an an200, sold it and got a cs6x with a plg150-an, and sold that and now finally have my an1x back again. That was a dumb sale (dropping the an1x) - nothing else is the same. Also, I think I've bought 3 dx200's. Every time I buy an fm synth I think I need one and then get tired of them quickly.

I also had a bunch of evolver's, they're another I fall in and out of love with pretty quickly. The MEK is a bit more fun, but I vascillate on whether or not I really like it basically every time I turn it on....

I'm always tempted to sell things like this because they are worth a lot and easy to pack and ship but I know I will just end up wanting to buy another one down the road. And in the case of the Microwave 1s who knows what the prices will be down the road. Took me forever to find one at a decent rate.

This one too. I know if I sell my desktop I will just buy another.

And being in Canada with shipping, customs and then Paypal/Ebay fees when your resell something it has to be a really good deal to make any money or break even. In my first year when I was buying and selling a lot of gear it was my wife that pointed out how much money I was actually losing when I thought I was making money/breaking even most of the time. I'd probably still be a crazy synth flipper if I lived in the States.

I also don't like selling gear if I can help it. I'm over my flip phase and online selling just seems to be such a hassle even compared with 2 years ago. Would rather sell the thousands of records I have listed online instead.

This was at my height of wavetable addiction - now over ... kinda :)

Found one (an original blue face) on it's own from the Harmony Central classifieds back in 2001, then got a Mean Green Machine edition from Carbon111 a couple of years later (couldn't turn that down - very rare) then found two from a single seller locally. I also added the PPG's during this time. It was insanity - seriously. Now I've pared-back to two Microwaves and two PPG's - still insane, but still wavetabling like crazy!
