Synths used on this cartoon?

Post by bigman2005 » Fri Dec 09, 2011 11:27 pm

This is from a TV show called Square One TV. It aired from 1987 to 1992.

This is a segment called Mathman, which is a take on Pac-Man

1987-1990 version

1991 version

What synths were used to create these two sounds?

Sounds like DX7 or other FM synth to me.

I concur. It's definitely FM synthesis.

Are you sure the first one is FM? The second version is either DX7 or D-50, or possibly M-1.
