Great, but why only 25 keys?? :x I don't get it.
Because they're trolling everyone who wants an analogue keyboard under $600.

Just wondering what more you could possibly want from them? It's a former software company making a small, cheap, knobby analogue synth with keys and with a multimode filter. Is this not what everyone's been wanting for ages?

I have to say, the Casio Music Gear site is so far pretty uninspiring.

because it's really a sound module... notice there's no wasted space ... like a nord or virus?
That's because they just added keys to be nice about it.. it's a bonus!
that sounds about right. it's totally a give and take between that and the mopho module... this has less oscillators, but more knobs... no memory... I smell a classic though! how do you suppose Arturia got the R&D done for this without anyone noticing?

^this. I'm really interested to hear what exactly those extra features do and how they sound. This could be really super extra bad-a** for what it is and the pricetag. This and the akai controller are the most exciting things for me so far (not that anyone cares ;) )

edit: +if this little guy sells like hotcakes, hopefully others will try to exploit the market as well and maybe we'll get some exciting mass produced analogia for cheap!

definitely have to give massive props to Arturia for this, closely followed by Akai for the cv/gate keyboard. we are about to enter a second analog renaissance it feels like.
