So is this the waldorf Q or the blowfeld or the nano in what looks like "this is how they could afford to bring back the pulse " ie an even more expensive package ? Looks are sexy though I will say , but come on Waldorf recycling can only go so far right ?

Looks like you can now play Choplifter on the OP-1?
Not sure what the drumming monkeys are for though.
I can't tell if they're just an interface for chaining OP-1s or something, or if they've added a new drum synth?:

The monkeys are part of an OS upgrade for the OP-1, which also includes a new drum synth.

When they release the MaxiBrute I imagine 50% of this forum will run out of semen.

Looks like a significant improvement in the sequencing. (One sequence per key.)

I think the law of diminishing returns gang banged that compressor.

It looks so nice though :(

^ Yeah, It sure does look nice, for a Fairchild copy it's not too badly priced really.

Now I'm just looking at this, a nice good quality interface with Thunderbolt option plus UAD DSP hosting in the external interface and a few plugs included hmm 8-)

Nah... The minibrute is still about $400 more expensive than most people here can afford with their allowance..

Dumb question of the day- does anyone know if the usb midi will send straight out to the cv/gate? Im pretty much planning to get anyway because its the perfect size for the travelling midi controller ive been after. I guess that also begs the question of whether the controllers send midi as well. Now that we're talking analog again, its unclear how much digital functionality we'll get :?

Take a look at these -

Sounds like yes on the USB/CV and no on the knobs sending control data. :)

In a couple of the videos the guy said it acted as a midi to cv convertor so I would assume usb midi too

Hm... I'm interested to see how this one comes out. No audio / video demos yet though - those I'll need to see before making a decision. It seems to have quite the arsenal of features to vouch for itself though.

Personally I'm most interested in the Radikal Technologies Accelerator.

There is this video (but it doesn't tell you much):
