At first I thought he was just triggering the drums.. but now I see he's playing each part with the fingers in his hand.

I saw that second video a while ago, I showed it to the Industrial Design students I was tutoring at the time. I think what he's doing is freakin rad, must be a b***h to move them to shows though.

That is how I thought too dark park must of been written before I knew what all these crazy electronic toys are .
However can I say ...I think I must have one
Incidentally this is what should have been inside that other crazy guy's techno panzer

The first video is actually his "new" setup that is more portable / easier to setup at shows apparentlyStab Frenzy wrote:I saw that second video a while ago, I showed it to the Industrial Design students I was tutoring at the time. Speaking as someone who is a former electro-mechanical and electronic engineer as well as someone who loves drone metal... That guy has some serious talents to combine them together so well.
Cheers for bringing this to our attention Th0mas!

Re: the scariest and coolest MIDI controller ever?
that guy is a genius! his instruments are just amazing and the fact that he actually make good music with them is mind blowing. usually when you see videos of new weird controllers, interfaces and instruments the music they make is unlistenable noise. i was reading his website of different controllers hes made... a 300 pound velocity and pressure sensitive rotary encoder!!!!! HOLY F*%@!
My modular so far: Q104, Q106, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M (x2 STEREO!)

Wow - that's bloody impressive.
Watching him at work in the first clip was actually rather remeniscent of the live video backdrop that Porcupine Tree use for Sleep Together
