Re: Your Rig---but 20 Years Ago
In 1992, i had only 2 keyboards:
Fender Rhodes mk1a
Roland D-50
A no picture from then.
Today, i still have the stage piano, but i changed the D-50 for a D-550...and bought a lot of other vintage machines !

It is much easier to be a good equipment purchaser than to be a great musician.

Re: Your Rig---but 20 Years Ago
20 years ago, I played the cello in a children's orchestra at the Royal Music School in Stockholm and sang in a children's choir in the parish. A year later, eurodance came and two years after that I discovered Elvis, Roy Orbison, Kiss and rock music and my life was never the same.
Funny enough, I'm a semi-professional choir singer to this day and have toured with choirs extensively for the last 10 years and competed in most european countries. Grand prix in Slovakia (2010) and 3rd price in International Chamber choir in Germany last year. The two choirs that beat us were so good you can't even imagine.
We have plenty of HQ-recordings on youtube if you are interested.

This is almost as popular as the TR-505. I had a "free" copy running on a borrowed Mac SE. Soon switched to Cubase 3.0 on the Atari, vastly superior.onslow wrote:Master Tracks Pro.

Re: Your Rig---but 20 Years Ago
I started messing with synths in 1986 with a nice setup in the spare bedroom, I moved in 1993 to a house with a box room which I was stuck in for almost 20 years, before getting an extension built for my ideal setup.
1986 - Spare Bedroom

1993 - Box Room

2010 - Same Box Room

2012 - New Extension

It's really cool to see the evolution of your set up.
