CV outs and a step sequencer? The modular guys will love this.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Well, not quite... since it doesn't have an auxillary CV output for filter control or likewise... Major oversight on Akai's part. Otherwise I would have been all over this.
Do you even post on vse bro?

I'm amazed at where the industry is going. MPC's seem to be morphing into glorified hardware controllers, but MIDI keyboards now have CV & a major softsynth maker has now designed what appears to be a great sounding synthesizer.
bonne chance

It's no surprise, soft synths are kinda worthless, i mean, they can do alot, but are often pirated. People want real analogue but don't want the high second hand price tag/maintenance issues and companies are starting to really take notice.

This controller looks pretty, i think it'd look really good in turquoise, red's not really my colour!

Strange indeed , but I kind of like it less predictable and very interesting . I do like the growing analog market , might still be a "fad" , but at least it's becoming a large fad .
I wonder how much crow Roland are feeling at their thought of bringing back the 303 as being too expensive and esoteric will sit at the next R&D meeting ?

Grain of Salt , but Kern over at CDM said he ran in to RL at Namm and said he was working with/for akai again ?
Some wish to leave their mark ... I want to leave a scar .
