Haven't used one,
but judging from the specs it seems a little dissappointing that a standalone LFO module only goes up to 275hz....

Pretty expensive, too.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Especially considering the same thing could be built with ONE XR2207 (or XR2209 or XR8038), a couple opamps for voltage mixers/buffers, and a few pots and switches.

Only thing is, apparently these guys didn't build it that way, otherwise it would have a minimum range of 0.01Hz to 200Mhz. Oh, and it could be voltage-controlled itself.

Hmm, maybe I'd better get the breadboard out... :ugeek:

A Moog CP-251 would do the same thing (albeit with a slower frequency) and even more for less money.
