Anyone know if I would find the corresponding s/n somewhere inside the machine, were I to open it up?

To be completely on topic, I had a Juno-60 a while ago without the "Ju-60".

If I'm not mistaken, another difference between early/late Juno-60's is that the very earliest ones are missing the protecting metal bar around the DCB port.

Dug up the s/n of my old 60.

333216 = August 1983. No Ju-60 marking.

If this information is worth anything :P

I know this is an old discussion but I wanted to chime in as this is something that's had me wondering for quite some time.

Personally I think the synths look better printed with JU-60 on the rear as the text lines up nicely with the JUNO 60 logo.

Anyway, my serial number is 368848 and the synth does NOT have the JU-60 markings.

Thanks :)
