Arp Explorer

Post by crossmytea » Wed Apr 11, 2012 6:23 am

Hi there,
I'm somewhat new here. I've been looking around this board for almost ten years. Anyway, I'm wondering if anybody here can give me some information on my Arp Explorer 1 I just bought. It says model 2910 on it with what looks like a SCSI on the back, as opposed to the 2900 that most of the Explorers say. I tried a sweep of the board and didn't really find much on it, so I'd appreciate some history if you guys have any.
Thanks

I have one but it has seen better days. It had a drop and as result, a cracked circuit board and a broken lever. I bought it for a whopping $650 in 1979. I could never sell it as it was my first synth and is featured on my hit single:
