Best solution for setting up my smaller keyboards.

So my studio is pretty tidy now, and i have all my big synths on stands and i've got a good workflow.

My only problem is, i've got a load of really cool toy keyboards (see sig list) lying around and the only real way I use them is thus:

1. Grab toy keyboard
2. Plug in and put on desk
3. Play in the part to cubase
4. Put away toy keyboard

I'd really like to have them all set up, powered up and run through my mixer, but regular double keyboard stands ain't gonna do it, i'd only fit 2 of them on, and they might be too small for the wide bottom layer.

Any ideas? Should i put some shelves up and put them all up there? Might be cumbersome for playing, or perhaps there's some ikea-like laundry rack product that would suit my needs? Perhaps i could get some black board, lay some pieces of it on a double keyboard stand and then attach 4 or 5 keyboards to that?

Any thoughts, let me know

look up an On Stage Laptop stand too on Amazon or somewhere like that, about 25 bucks - I have 2 for my samplers.

Also props on the dishwasher rack thingys from walmart, I use those too

My go-to solution for 'big misc. surface' - grab some plywood, cut to appropriate dimensions, spray paint black and use that on top of your regular x-frame stand. Just remember to cut it big enough to A: fit all your toys and B: so you can open that x-frame stand wide enough to get the right height you're looking for!

I keep seeing laptop stands for around $50.00. I will try to find the $25.00 ones on Amazon.

Right after I set up the closet shelf thing, I went into Sam Ash to see what they had. When I asked the keyboard guy what I could use for a number of small keyboards and instruments. He said he just used a piece of closet shelf. I was hoping for a better solution but it works OK, especially for the price.

I am going to paint it black one of these days but I just haven't gotten to it yet.
