The TQ5 is really more like a desktop version of the TX81Z with built-in effects, it's not a 2-operator FM+PCM synth like the TG-33 is. It is multitimbral like the TG-33 is though.
Had: DX7, AX-60, SR-16, Yamaha TQ5, 01/WFD, Juno-106, MG-1, JX-03
Want: OB-6, Prophet 6, Jupiter-6

I was at a local GC (not known for great pricing) the other day and saw a Roland D-110 for $40  That's pretty rock bottom. Are we poised for a low-end Roland L/A craze?
I just picked one of these up for about that price. I'll most likely get another because if I'm going to make the effort to program one I might as well duplicate and slightly tweak it on another one. It's pretty neat. It's not even worth that much and even looking at one will make your music worse.

Except that it's nothing like DX-7 - nowhere near close ;)

Just remembered something: Remember how in the mid-2000's, CZ-101's were going for as much as $300? I always thought that was odd.
