Goog

Post by Stab Frenzy » Tue May 22, 2012 4:18 pm

Who else has seen today's Google doodle? Pretty pretty rad, I thought it was cool when I realised I could play the keys with the mouse, then even cooler when I realised the QWERTY keyboard worked with it, then even cooler when I worked out the looper and my brain just about exploded when I realised the knobs actually worked. Who's hooked up a midi keyboard to see if that works? :D

Yes clever stuff from Google. Makes me wonder if they have a Minimoog lying around the office. :)

Bob Moog's b-day is tomorrow, so it's currently live on sites like Google Australia where it's already the 23rd, we should get it tomorrow

anyway this is so good

Whoops, beat me to it. Anyhow, the main question is how does this compare to the SH-101?

Well it is definitely cheaper than the 101...but I have the feeling that it isn't 100% analog...

But if this were offered at the same time the SH-101 came out, it would have cost $57,4000!*

This means of course that we are now supposed to pronounce Google "Gogle".

Anyway, just made a brilliant "avant-garde tape piece" and lost it to the ether by pressing back on the browser. Used Japanese Google for that slightly more grungy sound.

In related news, I'm going to try to get one of the limited edition Mooglefooglers!
