That's a moog synth at least.
Anyway, when I said "sampled oscillators" I meant that they record the waveforms in different pitches from the actual synth and map them to keys on the keyboard. It's very common in workstation synths.
It's called multisamples, that's how you put a $200000 grand piano into a workstation.

Would probably be too big size to put inside a little google app like that though.

I remember hearing this story: It wasn't that the guy got it cheaply and didn't need it, it was that, not being familiar with the concept of a monosynth, he thought it was broken because it only played one note. So he let Wakeman have it for next to nothing becuase he didn't want to deal with the trouble of fixing it himself.

I actually went out and bought a minimoog that day... but I sold it because it didn't sound as good as the moogle :cry:
