hahahahaha
Must have gone mad in the Gulag or something...
Was going to say it's probably broken, but then I looked at his other videos...

Re: The Sound of the Polivoks
I believe my comment when I first saw this video was "not entirely inaccurate". Polivoks synths are known to misbehave, and I can see how this might drive someone to near insanity.
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

I quite like the part where he changes from what looks like Low Pass to Band Pass.
It makes me think he may be a missing member of this band though:

I remember seeing this video in another post a while back.
Personally, I think it's hilarious and amazing.
Has anyone sampled the audio and used it in a recording yet?

Sorry if I offended you with my little joke... If you thought I was picking on Russians, you must remember that every nationality cops their fair share of cruel jokes. Ever seen the Simpsons episode were they go to Australia? Anyway I must remember that the cold war and communist dictatorships in some places is a little more close to home.philip wrote:j**k

Re: The Sound of the Polivoks
haha, missed the ' made'.
The best part was when I threw this on, the g/f was like 'what the h**l are you listening too' and looked at me like I was crazy when I said 'a synth demo'.

Re: The Sound of the Polivoks
I always liked Jexus' description of the sound:
Jexus wrote: Polivoks has the most crispy, harsh, overdriven, cruel, nasty, sharp filter human beings created. The synth sounds like a crazy alien b***h being raped and murdered (and apparently enjoying it).

No, I just found this video completely not funny, boring and childishly stupid.madmarkmagee wrote:Sorry if I offended you with my little joke...
