Think they could sell one to Arturia to deliver the voltage to everyone bitching that their VSTs arent a 1000% faithful representation ? ;)

Also, the vehicle has a gun, so it can shoot down everyone whining about Roland not doing analog synths in threads about other new analog synths.

Anways, a sawtooth is a sawtooth is a sawtooth. Analog/digital is just different ways of creating them.

It's a new synth called Earth-8: entirely made of biodegradable material, features photoelectric synthesis, corral filters, cloud technology, lava distortion, wind noise and more! Polyphony is only limited by the number of animals available at one time. There's also an upgrade available (free of the dreaded Humans bug).

Roland has planetary names, Korg has the Greek alphabet.

My vote is for the Roland Uranus. It's a sampler; An update to the MV8800.

Shove all of your samples in Uranus and out comes ...

It will contain DNA from Gilbert and Sullivan and will have a sequencer in the key of S.

oh man, I am hoping this can become a pissing contest where someone gets super obstinate, and spreading nerd rage in online forums about how clueless Roland is for not making the analog synth of their dreams...

Don't worry, it will happen as soon as they post a vague blurry picture of the synth. Here aswell.

Hey guise I have the best idea.

ROLAND SHOULD TOTALLY MAKE THE JUPITER 8 AGAIN.

But only sell it for like 300 bucks because I don't want to pay lots for one.

Best idea ever amirite?

Nah, Roland should create freeware VST's of all their legacy synths. If they can't sell the physical ones any more they surely won't mind people downloading them for free, innit? :)
