Win a Moog Voyager signed by Moogfest 2012 artists!
Hello, everyone.
It's that time of year again!
The Bob Moog Foundation carted a brand new Moog Voyager (black with blue lights) around to most of the Moogfest artists, and had them sign it. It is now being raffled to raise money to support the education and preservation projects of the Foundation.
Click here to enter the raffle: http://bit.ly/U4RiQp
HURRY! The raffle ends November 30, or when 700 tickets have been sold. It is getting close!
The synth was signed by:
Thomas Dolby
Orbital (both Paul and Phil signed it)
Squarepusher
Black Moth Super Rainbow
Carl Craig
Richie Hawtin
Morton Subotnick
Herb Deutsch
Miike Snow
Santigold
Alessandro Cortini
Richard Devine
Ana Sia
Nas
Magnetic Fields
Shpongle
GZA
Les Claypool
Bear in Heaven
Explosions in the Sky
Chad Hugo
The Google Doodle Team (the guys responsible for the Bob Moog Google Doodle)
This is a really amazing collection of artists to have signatures of in one place... I mean, come on... Morton Subotnick AND Herb Deutsch? Don Buchla's Herb Deutsch and Bob Moog's Herb Deutsch in one place? Amazing. Anyway. Go bid! Either you win a rare synthesizer, or you support the Bob Moog Foundation!
Thank you, fellows.

I'm always in. I appreciate the outreach to kids, and the sharing of musicality (especially within the electronic arena).
...and... DAMN I would love to have that Voyager.

You can!?!?!? That's even better! I thought it was a one trick pony for rock 'n roll dudes that can only play pentatonic scaled leads.Bitexion wrote:Why wouldn't they? You can make dubstep with it!

So.... Who won? i take it from the date that I didn't, but I can't see that the winner has been announced. AG, any news?
BTW, fantastic news and well done to whoever won. i'm bitter, but in a good way!

Think I'll stick with the one I've got. It's got nice wooden panelling and people haven't written all over it.

I would have totally been that douchebag for sure but I didn't buy a ticket in timeBitexion wrote:Hope it's not a douchebag that puts it straight up on ebay for $100,000

I too would have requested all signatures be replaced by marc's signatures before that though.
