It was a Jupiter 6, but the JU6/60 could recreate it easily (the arp is used for the bassline)

Pretty sure I've read a Larry Heard interview that it was a happy accident with a Juno 6 arp triggered from a 707 (music technology magazine I think, I know it's in the same issue as an early Prodigy interview and a JV80 review, so 1992 I would guess).

I asked Larry specifically about this in 2005 and he said every synth on the record is jupiter 6

Just dug out that old interview, recordbot is quite right, Heard says that it was a Jupiter 6 on Can You Feel It (he used the 707 and Juno 6 on Washing Machine). Apologies

I think what makes the JP6 better at this particular line, rather than the JU6/60, would be that the Jupiter allows for a true solo/monophonic mode - this doesn't smear the release times - allows for a cleaner sequence.
