So we just need to take things with wooden sides and make them metal to look ahead.

I got the most lookin' ahead-est idea ever. We replace the metal on synths with wood...

Wooden face panel, metal sides. I'm flipping this upside down and you can't do s**t to stop me.

I do think what is happening is no one really can take synths to another level without some reference to the past, i believe its all been done and better long ago, you cant live in the past but you can change the present , ive just bought a ipad mini, im already being told various apps are around in this field perhaps thats where to go.

Damn, what a demo. Well done Amos! You've really outdone yourself with this one. Moog couldn't have chosen a better musician/engineer to show this one off! The more obscure features were very well explained, and the bread and butter features even seemed quite new and exciting. This synth is much, much more than it appears. I take back my previous post about this being a "throwback". That's certainly not the case here.

I dunno. I saw a pic of Stevie Wonder and Bernie Worrel both on Sub Phatties. That would have been worth the price of the trip right there. Tell me Moog shot footage of that one, not just a picture.

I know this is really late and whatever but I just had to mention that I came across that bizarre flying lotus video for the sub phatty and...

Did anybody notice how f**k loud it is? It's clipping like death magnetic if timbaland decided to remaster it. :x

I am happy to hear all the under the hood features are accessible from the front panel through a shift function that repurposes the knobs.

I worked on it all day.
The Sub Phatty has some cool stuff.
It'll be out as soon as I can put it together.

Too much.

I want to know if this is going to be a proper review or just your loose thoughts.
And you don't read your emails on VSE.
Or maybe you just ignore mine.

And...and...are there some comparisons sonically and historically.....?
And...and....differences (sonically, tonally and physically) between phatties..
