Newbie here!! (only found the site while trying to sort a problem!!)
I bought a new D20 in yesteryear . . .when they first came out. Used it for years, mainly for writing drum/bass sequenses before uploading on to Cubase.
After pc crash I lost heart. I've just started playing around again and have a tech. problem with the D20. The 'upper' button wouldn't function. . . no matter what direction I tried to emphasize the 'press'. I decided nothing to loose so on went some WD40. After 10 minutes of massaging with a soft clock (the synth. . . not me
) I got it working again!! . . .the problem is now I can't get a sound out of the 'multi timbral' set of notes. If I switch to 'performance' mode, all the sounds are there but when I switch back silence.I've 'initialised' the synth again but nowt.
So, has the WD40 fixied one prob but causing another?, or could I have silenced this aspect of the synth by pressing something in error whilst massaging the keys.
Any help would be most welcome. . .
