Low frequencies problem on Juno 60

Post by juhill » Thu Feb 07, 2013 8:55 pm

I have a Juno-60 and since a few weeks I noticed a loss of low frequencies, as if a high pass filter was plugged at the output.

I noticed that by comparing a sound from a preset of my Juno-60 with the sound from the same preset that I had recorded in a audio track of my DAW (no plugins on the track) few month ago.

Does anyone know where it may come from ? Any solution ?

Thank you

The HPF slide switch could be bad. I have one if you need one.

I agree it could be an issue with the HPF slider, try tapping down on it in its lowest position and see if the low end clicks in momentarily.

However, if you are using the same unmodified preset it shouldn't be an issue - another way to check is see if te preset is noting that it has been modified as soon as you select it (indicated by a small red dot next to the number), this could mean the HPF or perhaps the Sub osc are not working properly, as the computer is registering a change to the sliders.
