I used up all of my MS-20 GAS long ago. I had the MS-10 and VC-10 and it was shortly after posting about how awesome the MS series was on TGS that the price began to jump up just as I was waiting on a deal for the MS-20 (because $500 seemed just a bit much  ) and saving for a SQ-10.

anyway, the MS-20ic has been fun and I'm glad they're doing this and the slightly larger size looks much better as the MK mini keys are just a bit too small.

if ever they decide to rerelease the rest of the MS series, then I'll be in trouble.

Damnit! Last year at tax time it was a Freqbox and Minitaur (I returned the Monotribe, didn't gel for some reason and the return was used toward the MInitaur). This year I was planning to get a new guitar, but since I just used some Christmas money to pick up a Duo Sonic, maybe I have to get the Mini MS 20.

I had wanted to pick up a Minibrute too, but the delay from h**l set in and while I would still like one, I've been enjoying my iMS20 since it was released. I have kept an eye out for Legacy controllers to use w/the iPad version, but I would much rather have a real one sitting on my desk. My kids would be at my desk all the time wanting to play it. Yes my 2 girls are already getting into synths and other instruments at 7 and nearly 5. My 4 year old walks over and says "Daddy can I play with a synthesizer?" and when I say yes she grabs my Monotron Duo or Delay and plays some. Really need to setup the JX8P and PG800 for them sometime and get the Juno 106 fixed up heh.

Oh man this is awesome news! I have an original with KORG35 filter and it is my fav mono, think it will have to be looked after in it's box and I'll grab one of these to use instead. Damn, I might even buy a spare at that price.

Only thing I don't get is why they didn't add a DIN MIDI out, but since it has it via the USB I can live with that.

The Prophet and Buchla look sweet too.

Best NAMM ever!! :D

(Oh and these are going to sell like the proverbial hotcake going by people's reactions)

Polysix or monopoly... They could easily do a monopoly for 800 or less.

I'd rather want a mini (or any, that is) SQ10 :thumbright:

Thanks, it's good to have the inside track on the costing from a Korg employee. ;)
