Yeah the merge function is fairly arcane on this board, after I merged them it said "New Korgs" but it's gone to the other name now.

I think that it means a bunch of people will latch onto this as a reason why the new MS-20 sucks and the old one is amazing, not realising that VCO synths have had various forms of digital stabilisation all the way back to the Prophet 5.

The note CV is coming from a digital source if you're playing it from midi or the keyboard, so having a digital counter circuit on the osc outputs that can periodically check if they're way out of tune and then alter the CV output scaling is not going to make the VCOs sound bad.
