Can you play the blues on a black synth?

But really, the oscillator on this box is quite remarkable. They've included both hard sync w/pitch EG, unison, unison spread, PWM and pulsewidth around a single knob and a flip switch, depending on what quadrant you position the knob within, and NO menu diving. That is design genious.

I read the manual yesterday. And no, there is no white Rocket.

I think the reason might be that the surface qualty of the dark one seems to be better. The self adhesive printer paper surface of the white prototype already looks a little worn after a few weeks ;)

I'm SO close to placing a preorder for this. A store in Oslo said they've been promised some units within next week.
But I don't REALLY need another synth..but it's so small. And so cheap. And..and..pretty.

I'm in the same mindframe. This could be a nice little live edition for the Machinedrum to sequence though.

Heh heh heh ... in a few years' time, this will be the start of another internet legend ...

This little guy really does seem like it should be a lot of fun. Yes, there are some digital components to it, but I don't care. The online demos and videos sound good and I'll be interested in trying it out along side the MS-20 mini and the Minibrute.

I'd really like to give the Stylophone 2 a shot, too, but without a native midi interface, it's a standalone for me. We'll see - there are a LOT of toys out there all of a sudden again. I haven't even begun to start thinking about more drum machines to play with! Ugh ...

Yes, I own the minibrute as well and the two should complimenting each other nicely. We have an almost similar taste for small synth :) I'm also very interested with the Stylophone 2, and mostly use the analog gear without midi.

Oh, yeah - I've been watching that, too.

Maybe I should forget about putting a pool in this summer, eh?

jeez, he really didnt like it

If he did, he *really* should NOT spend the first four minutes saying how limited/flimsy/wobbly etc things are
