No worries man, really strange about the 8/4 thing though... And that's on their page. Wonder what it's all about.

So according to the Waldorf facebook group . OSC1 has a " para 8" mode = 8 sawtooths ala rocket , but they mention only osc 1 and no mention of the 8/4 voice as in the original posted specs . So eh ?

Isn't the Pulse 2 coming out this month? Anyone heard anything?

Yes, probably in the end of this month. But anyway, I suppose new Pulses are going to be on shelves very soon, considering some information on Facebook!

I just wish they went for a rack format like the original, rather than a desktop module.

I have the Pulse 2 here in front of me doing some factory sounds and i quite like the module version (same as blofeld desktop) it has a great hands on feel too. You can get great raw sounds and weird stuff coming out of this thing i really like it. Okay enough said so back to programming the thingVoodoo Ray wrote:I just wish they went for a rack format like the original, rather than a desktop module.

I figured as much, but thought I'd ask nonetheless. My Bass Station II just came to the door, though, so I think I can wait a little longer for the Pulse 2.

I have the Bass Station 2 also and love it. Although right now i'm playing about on my Mopho x4 it's highly addictive. More sounds for pulse2 tonight. You'll like the BS2 i think, very easy to use.Blue Monster 65 wrote:I figured as much, but thought I'd ask nonetheless. Very nice. Might be time for a new synth, since I've resisted Sub Phatty, MS20 mini, Bass Station 2, etc.

Yes my sounds are in there, i'll be doing more later for users to download and install as they wish (available from Waldorf soon) too although you'll have some real fun programming your own. There's also Pulse 1 sounds in there.
Hope you all like the sound of the new Pulse 2.
