Replicants are like any other machine, they're either a benefit or a hazard. If they're a benefit, its not my problem.

Nice! I know if I got a Mini and a Tron I'd probably be happy enough to forget about the other synths I'd want haha.meatballfulton wrote:Tough question...I suppose a MiniMoog and a Mellotron are my only dream machines.
And shoot, add a Hammond Organ, Piano, and Electric Piano and you'd have a pretty decent Rick Wakeman setup

I'm a big fan of the new Streetly M4000, but I really like how the M4000D you can choose any two different sounds you want and blend them (on a tape machine you're limited to blending tracks A+B and B+C) and I believe you can add more voice cards and get more sounds.Shutoku wrote:Not a synth, but I"ve been watching youtubes on the mellotron m4000d and I am in love!!!
I wonder if there's anyone that builds an M400 style case for the M4000D. Now that would be slick!

OMG here they are in 2009...

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Re: Dream Synth(s)
After seeing this awesome video I'm adding the ARP Odyssey to my list too..
And if you get bored by just the Odyssey, he does a great jam together with 2 Prophet-5's and a Linndrumm at the 8:00 and out.
