" it's like the synth equivalent of a gold tooth. Very useful for producing REAL TRAP MUZIK."

Read to me like you were goofing on the blingy stereotype(s). I figured weird since dub is always taking knocks on here and you don't seem to like when it does (understandably). So no harm no foul if I got your point crossed.

I can imagine rich rappers posting pictures with their diamond teeth grillz and the MM brass knob tagged #KEEPINITREALYO

The point is to generate publicity for Moog by getting synth nerds to start Internet threads about their knobs.

But I must have the limited edition official Moog 10th anniversary brass casted filter cutoff knob for my Moog!

I registered a few Moog products with the promise of being sent a sticker back in 2005. Never did receive anything, so I'll believe it if I ever see it. Not going to be disapointed if I never see one though.

How about a no-prize for identifying the origin of the term no-prize... 8-)
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

??? Tekken likes dub? I haven't seen many discussions on dub here at all, what gives you this idea?

they should do a spiked knob, it would dispel a lot of user's belief that the cutoff knob is the only knob worth playing with. theres more to moogs than *mmmmMMMMMMMMWAAAAAAOOHHHHHHMMMMMmmmmmmmmm*

And a few months later, Moog has sent out this rare limited edition brass cutoff controller.
Image

It's for a "D" type potentiometer shaft, so it won't fit most of my vintage Moogs.
It will fit a Prodigy.

It doesn't look that bad, does it?

Jesus, what is the matter with people? A company offers a FREE GIFT to its customers, totally, completely free, and SOMEONE thinks it looks "silly". Who the f**k cares what it looks like? It's a goddamned free gift. If you don't like it maybe you could send it back to Moog with a letter saying "gift is stupid, please send me a t-shirt. X-tra large, thanks". Company tries to show appreciation for its customers, and half of them whine that they haven't gotten theirs yet, while the other half b***h about how ugly the free gift is. Christ. Let's have less negativity and more brass knob p**n. Thanks.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
